We’re only a fansite and we don’t have any real communication with Colton himself, we know just as much as you.

First of all I want to apologize to anyone I may have provided with false hope based on the article that was published here earlier, however not there is a lot of proof that Colton will indeed be leaving Teen Wolf.

First of all, Some of you may know the blogger from zap2it Carina Mackenzie. She is a close friend of Colton and has now confirmed that he will be leaving. Here is an excerpt from her article:

Despite rumors that Haynes was “forced out” of the show, sources close to the show tell Zap2it that the team at MTV wanted to find a way to keep Haynes on board, but salary negotiations came to an unfortunate standstill, despite a lucrative offer. The sources say that he is always welcome to come back to the show.

When Season 2 ended, Haynes obviously still had not signed on for a third season. In fact, things were so up in the air that Davis considered killing off Colton’s character, Jackson, in the Season 2 finale.

Though our sources confirm that negotiations have come to an end, MTV’s official statement remains hopeful, and reps say they stand by it. “Absolutely no truth that Colton is being pushed out or that he, or any cast member, is being replaced,” says a spokesperson in an official statement sent to Zap2it. “We love Colton and look forward to his returning with the entire cast for Season 3 of Teen Wolf.”

This is upsetting me as both a Colton fan and a Teen Wolf fan and comes as a big upset to other fans aswell. However, there is a rumour that Colton is set to star in a new pilot so finger’s crossed that he’ll be back on our screen soon enough.

   i don’t even understand why this has to happen. i really don’t get it. why can’t he be on teen wolf and the cast be one big happy family like they always were and everything would be fine. WHY did this happen.

   This is not true. The MTV and Teen Wolf twitters are still following him. Colton changed his bio weeks ago. I don’t think these things are substantial proof till an official MTV rep announces it.

   I’m looking at his twitter bio right now and it still says “Hello, Colton Haynes here, this is my official account. Watch me in Teen Wolf on MTV as Jackson.” The various MTV/Teen Wolf accounts are still following him. Jeff Davis himself has tweeted that he has no idea what people are talking about.

   So really, until I hear it straight from Colton or Jeff, I’m not going to believe it.

   Thats evidence… but its not solid evidence. I want him to say it before anyone else confirms it. If you’re confirming it and its not true… you look really bad. Just because something looks like a fact, doesn’t mean it is. WAIT

   idk i just feel like he wouldn’t up and leave like that. is salary that big of a deal? i mean the show is still considered new and if he’s leaving before it explodes (which it will ’cause it kinda already has) then he’s made a stupid choice… it could rake in millions next season and i’m sure he knows that. plus why would he leave holland like that omg i bet the whole cast is devastated. if it’s true. i won’t believe it until colton actually says it.
